Wedding : Pre-Nuptial Photos

First of all, let me say thank you to pinoygraphers@sg for their kindness, generosity and talents that they shared with both of us during the shoot. They were all very artistic - walang tapon! Initially, I thought of keeping the pictures until the wedding (for the surprise factor!) but later realized that the people behind the shoot deserved all the recognitions for doing a superb job!

Note : This was an early shoot - 6 am because they wanted to have the sunrise but unfortunately it was rain showers that welcome us. Yay! Good thing Singapore has three seasons in a day and enough to say that it's a sign of more blessings to us to the people who helped us during the shoot. Many thanks again to Jowena, China, Erik, Lesley & Eman!

Wedding : Theme & Motiff

Theme : VICTORIAN - LACE & ROSES

The perfect theme for a most romantic evening, very formal and elegant is a Victorian Theme Wedding. Flowers prevail and the entire reception venue is almost filled with beautiful roses. Dried roses are scented with your favorite oil fragrance and placed on guests’ tables to fill the air with love and mystery. Votive candles adorn the tables. Color choices are ivory, white, pink, champagne, gold, rose and green. Invitations are adorned with ostrich feathers and envelopes are slipped with dried scented roses. The bride will look perfect in an ivory wedding dress in lace. Full skirts for the bridesmaids dresses. Groom will look elegant and formal in a Victorian Tux. Favors for guests are choices of scented potpourri in lace sachets, lace fans, or chocolate truffles. A string quartet to play during the ceremony and reception. Invitations are formal and printed on smooth, medium weight pure white or ivory paper.

Colour Motif : Redwine & Gold Yellow

Oh yes! I am huge RED fanatic! For me red means life and vitality - colour of passion too! Kaya nga siguro lagi akong hyper :) To be in tune with the merry season, I decided to have GOLD - Joke! I want gold because it symbolizes wealth and also the symbol of of good health. They also say that people who favor gold are optimistic. These rich colour spell luxury and formality. Best for evening affairs, best for my theme too! So be warned, expect to see a lot of red and gold on our big day :)

Wedding : Church & Reception

San Agustin Church
Shrine of Our Lady of Immculate Conception Parish
General Luna corner Real Street, Intramuros, Manila
+632 5274052/+632 5272746

Notes : This is my one and only preferred wedding church. We have been together for so many years now but only started planning the wedding last May 2008. It was such a great blessing when my sister told us that our desired date and time is still open at San Agustin Church. This church is a popular venue for weddings and yet in spite of approximately six months preparations we were able to book it! What a great way to start my preps! Surely this is the church meant for us.

Clamshell Tent 2
Intramuros, Manila
+632 5242513

Notes : Since both of us are overseas, my sis is in-charge of all the legwork. I am thankful to her that having two children and a regular job, she is still willing to help us. Our priority is to find a reception nearest to San Agustin Church. Clamshell is just few steps away from the church and it is BIG - approximately 888 square meters. I know that with proper styling this tent will transform into a fantastic venue.

Please Save the Date!

Our do-it-yourself "Save the Date!"

Oh yes, this is it! We decided to make our "Save the Date" after we booked the church (many thanks to my sis bey for doing so).

Thanks to Sherwin for the doing the photoshop and picture of course!

My contribution, to distribute the "Save the Date" to our family, loved ones & friends. Since we are overseas, email is the best way to spread the good news!

Please join us as we celebrate our union on 16th of December 2008!

Cheers!

This is a test blog...

this is only a test...

I am trying my best to organize my thoughts but my mind is very occupied with my "big day" which is happening in less than 3 months - Dec 16, 2008!

Hope you're all doing well!
